Deadline for Fall 2008 Submissions:
must be postmarked by Oct. 17th, 2008
(don't wait until the last second - submit now!)

Cost to submit:

FREE (let's get that out of the way early - we make money from distributing movies - not from charging filmmakers to submit their movies for consideration.)

Revenue paid to filmmakers:

50% (for every minute we charge one of our viewers we pay our filmmakers half).

Genre:

Any (we are looking for stuff that is designed to be entertaining and will appeal to a general audience).

Quality:

Highest/Best (GTTV offers only the best short movies to our users - make sure you put some time/effort/money into your film - that is what we are looking for).

Length:

Minimum - 5 minutes; Maximum - 30 minutes. You can submit many different movies but each entry must comply with the length requirements.

Rating:

G, PG, PG-13, R

Preferences:

Preference will be given to films with active websites, myspace and other internet-based promotional venues in place. Any films uploaded in their entirety on YouTube or other free-to-view video sites will not be accepted (however, trailers or other promotional videos on these sites are permissible and encouraged).

To Submit:
Please read carefully

1) Submit your film(s) on DVD to:

Gorilla Tango - GTTV New Movies!
1919 N. Milwaukee Ave.
Chicago, IL 60647

PLEASE NOTE:
a) If your film is accepted for distribution, you will be given a GTTV producer account where you will need to upload your movie into the system as a .mpg, .mov, or .wmv. From there you can also watch your earnings in real time.

b) Your DVD will not be returned.

c) Once a specific movie has been declined please don't submit it again - you are just wasting our time and your postage. Of course, feel free to submit new movies for consideration!

d) GTTV does lots of promotion for our entire library of content, but as we are working to develop a market for short films we expect all filmmakers with films on GTTV to help us promote by posting links and encouraging people to view their film on GTTV. Films will generate revenue from our current user base - however films that generate no interest/revenue from new users in the first few weeks on GTTV will be considered "non-contributing" to GTTV and our community of hardworking/promoting filmmakers. So if you want to be on GTTV be ready to promote your film - why not, you make money from it anyway, right?!!

2) Please include the following:
(write clearly)
a) Your Name
b) Address (Street, City, State and Zip Code)
c) Telephone Number
d) Email
e) Title of Film(s)
f) Length of Film(s)
g) Genre, Description, and Rating

3) We will communicate with you via email. Include an active email address; write clearly. Please add webmaster@gorillatango.com and support@gorillatango.tv to your "trusted" list so we do not get filtered by your SPAM filter. All entries submitted without an email address or with an illegible email address will be disqualified. All submission will receive a confirmation email. GTTV does not sell or rent email addresses.

4) Please include any websites, MySpace pages, blogs, trailers, etc. for your film and/or your production company; write clearly.

GTTV will review all content in the order it was received - so please be patient. If you have any questions email support@gorillatango.tv.
