half).
Genre:
Any (we are looking for stuff that is designed to be entertaining and will appeal to a general
audience).

Highest/Best (GTTV offers only the best short movies to our users - make sure you put some time/effort/money into your film - that is what we are looking for).

To Submit:
Please read carefully
1) Submit your film(s) on DVD to:
Gorilla Tango - GTTV New Movies!
1919 N. Milwaukee Ave.
Chicago, IL 60647
PLEASE NOTE:
a) If your film is accepted for distribution, you will be given a GTTV producer account where you will need to upload your movie into the system as a .mpg, .mov, or .wmv. From there you can also watch your earnings in real time.
b) Your DVD will not be returned.
c) Once a specific movie has been declined please don't submit it again - you
are just wasting our time and your postage. Of course, feel free to submit new
movies for consideration!
d) GTTV does lots of promotion for our entire library of content, but as we
are working to develop a market for short films we expect all filmmakers with
films on GTTV to help us promote by posting links and encouraging people to view
their film on GTTV. Films will generate revenue from our current user base -
however films that generate no interest/revenue from new users in the first few
weeks on GTTV will be considered "non-contributing" to GTTV and our
community of hardworking/promoting filmmakers. So if you want to be on GTTV be
ready to promote your film - why not, you make money from it anyway, right?!!
2) Please include the following: (write clearly)

4) Please include any websites, MySpace pages, blogs, trailers, etc. for your

GTTV will review all content in the order it was received - so please be patient. If you have any questions email
support@gorillatango.tv.

How did the idea for GTTV come about?

How did the idea for GTTV come about?
We first created a similar all-inclusive producing infrastructure for theatre at our live venue in Chicago - this system proved to be very efficient and profitable for both Gorilla Tango and the individual producers. GTTV is the Internet based incarnation of that same business model, designed specifically for producers of film/TV/animations/etc.

What can I do with GTTV as a producer?
GTTV gives independent producers the ability to distribute and monetize their content using a pay-per-minute model. With GTTV each producer has the same relationship to the consumer as they would through a wide theatrical or pay-per-view release, i.e. with GTTV you now have the ability to reach millions of individual consumers without needing the backing or approval of the traditional Hollywood distribution machine - you just need a great movie and a good relationship with GTTV.
Why doesnt GTTV just let everyone upload movies?

Why doesnt GTTV just let everyone upload movies?
Well, frankly if we did that our system would be overloaded with all kinds of garbage movies that no one cares about and no one would want to pay to watch. We want filmmakers with movies who believe in their content and our excited to be a part of GTTV. Our users expect only the best - and we want to make sure they get it. If you want to upload all kinds of garbage (low quality), put it on YouTube. Their business model works (and is very successful for them) on that very concept.

How much money will I make with GTTV?
That will vary greatly depending on the movie, the amount of specific promotion by the filmmaker and the over all popularity of the movie amoung the GTTV user base. We provide the means to deliver, charge consumers to view your content and advertising for our entire library of content but each filmmaker must think of their movie as a product like any other - the more it is promoted the better the odds of fully capturing its value.
Why pay-per-minute and not pay-per-view?

Why pay-per-minute and not pay-per-view?
This gives the consumer the flexibility to watch as little or as much of the movie as they want. This encourages a user to take more risks because they know that if something turns out to not be to their liking, they can stop watching at anytime without having to pay for the whole thing.
This also helps the Filmmakers and GTTV gage what people really think of the films. GTTV uses gross revenue to rank the popularity of films. Rather than a contrived review or feedback system, the consumer "votes" with their money. The more time and money people spend watching a film, the higher it is ranked.
Does GTTV do any advertising or promotion for my movie?
Why don't I just put it on YouTube (and the like)?

Why don't I just put it on YouTube (and the like)?
Free video sites are great for generating traffic to short content but they will not generate you any revenue. If you want to put the movie that you put your valuable time, effort and money into on YouTube next to yet another video of some guy getting kicked in the balls, go ahead, it's your movie.
OK, but then how do I use YouTube (and the like) to my advantage?

OK, but then how do I use YouTube (and the like) to my advantage?
Post trailers, clips, advertisements, etc. to aid in your promotion process and then convert the interest generated from that into paid views on GTTV. Putting trailers/clips on YouTube is like running a 30-second commercial for your movie on broadcast television: great for generating interest!

How many people can watch GTTV?
Anyone with a modern browser on their desktop, laptop, mobile or wireless, and a broadband connection is able to watch GTTV. Right now that is about 285,000,000 potential viewers (this number is projected to increase to 567,000,000 by 2011 per In-Stat).

If I put my movie on GTTV, who owns the rights?
You maintain all rights to your content. GTTV is just the distribution and monetization system - you own and remain in control of all your content at all times. All we ask is that you don't post your film to any free sites while it is part of GTTV's library.
How long will my movie be on GTTV?

How long will my movie be on GTTV?
Hopefully, a long time. GTTV bases how long each movie stays active in the system on how much revenue they earn on a regular basis. As revenue drops off for any particular movie, it could be flagged to be replaced by another greater revenue generating movie.
